In Senigallia you can practice many sports in modern facilities with cutting-edge equipment. Some hotels have swimming pools, saunas and tennis courts, but public facilities stand out for their greater size and versatility.

The Molinello Swimming Pool, with its length of 25 meters and depth of 1 and a half meters, has existed for a long time in the residential district of Vivere Verde.
The Saline Swimming Pool is named after the area close to the eastern beach, under the hill. Recently built with modern architectural lines, large windows, common spaces, solarium and tribune, it is 25 meters long and 1 meter 80 deep.
It is open every day from 9:00 am to 10:00 pm and on Sunday morning; affordable rates and optional special season tickets.

Those who like playing tennis have several opportunities: Tennis Saline, at the multipurpose sports field in the same area as the swimming pool, has 4 clay courts and two indoor artificial turf courts.
Tennis Vivere Verde is named after the district and is located close to the swimming pool having the same name. It has three clay courts and two artificial turf courts. The historic Tennis al Ponte Rosso center in front of the beach, a hundred meters from the roundabout with bar restaurant, has 3 concrete courts and two winter indoor ones. In addition, the AS Football '93 sports center has a multi-purpose indoor court and outdoor courts for football, five-a-side football and tennis.

The offer of boules courts to be used in the summer on the sandy courts of the beaches or indoors at equipped clubs is fairly good.

As for basketball, the Palazzetto dello Sport is an indoor court that hosts local basketball teams on alternate Sundays.

In the Molinello area there is also a table tennis facility: the historic ping-pong venue is a CONI affiliated center that organizes courses and trains more experienced, former Olympic and European champions.

The offer of gyms is particularly varied; all of them are well-equipped in terms of both variety of courses and equipment as well as services focused on body care and well-being. We recommend, among the most complete, the centers Nirvana, GF, Planet Fitness and the renovated Club 2000.

Those who want to practice outdoor sports will not fail to appreciate the horse riding opportunities represented by courses and excursions at the Val Cesano Equestrian Center, the Tenuta il Giogo di Monterado and the Giglio di San Silvestro Horse Association; some of the centers hold pleasant excursions on the sandy coast in uncrowded periods.

An interesting initiative allows you to practice beach volleyball and beach tennis all year round at two indoor courts in Borgo Bicchia.

The beach of Senigallia and the large stretch of sea in front of it are ideal for practicing pleasure and sports boating. Exit from the beach and landing are facilitated by the shallow waters and the wide field of vision; what’s more, the wind is often favorable and persistent.
One of the clubs to turn to for sea sports is the Lega Navale Sezione di Senigallia, a historic reference point for sea enthusiasts, based in the marina and provided with large meeting rooms, bars and restaurants. The Lega Navale has a beach with various centerboard housings.
Activities and courses with federal instructors are guaranteed throughout the season, for both adults and children. Also located in the marina, the Nautical Club is a point of reference for the parking of boats.
This club has convivial premises for members including a bar restaurant. Its intense competitive activity comes with courses and regattas: the Optimist one, held in June, is particularly successful.
The Associazione Velica Senigallia, although established last, carries out a significant activity on a large stretch of beach in Ciarnin, that is, beyond the large hotels towards Marzocca. There are more than 100 catamarans and dinghies housed on the beach, and members can also have a large storage space for the winter and convivial rooms in the former summer camp venue. Non-members, both adults and children, can also attend collective and individual courses with federal instructors, and rent small and medium centerboards.

Thrill lovers and adventurous spirits can enjoy kitesurfing, which has long been particularly popular in Senigallia. The sport is practiced strictly on days when the sea is rough and the wind blows hard.
